Play Editor Overview

The play editor interface has an UPPER toolbar that contains a variety of tools, getting familiar with them will help you speed up designing your plays and help you get the most out of our playbook designer.

You will find the following in the UPPER toolbar:

• BACK button - will take you back to the PLAYBOOK GRID where you can switch plays or access the playbook level editing tools.
• Play Name Input - Here you can change the play name for the current play.
• SAVE Button - Save the entire playbook without exiting the PLAY EDITOR.
• COPY Button - Create a COPY of the current play.
• SWITCH Button - Switch Plays within the playbook.
• ARRANGE Dropdown - Flip current play or center it within the field.
• Add Button - Add a TEXT BLOCK to the field diagram, useful for displaying small blocks of text to provide helpful hints to your players.
• ADD Defense or Offense - Add an offensive or defensive formation "VERSUS" your existing play, useful for weekly game plans, scout team, etc.
• SHIFT Left/Right Buttons - Shift the entire formation left or right.

Within the play editor is a BULK editing feature that allows you to change styling features for multiple players at once.

Available Bulk Operations

• Change player icon SHAPE
• Change player icon FILL COLOR
• Change player icon LABEL COLOR
• Change player icon STROKE COLOR

Provide brief full text instructions to your players to help explain their jobs when executing each of your players.

Tutorial mode is a fully animated version of your play that is automatically created for each play you draw up. A very useful tool to help visualize your play execution.

Edit various settings for all of your players at once as needed.
