Drawing Routes

Get starting drawing player routes, using straight line, curved line, zone routes and route presets. Learn how to use all of the different route drawing tools and controls, as well as how to edit the routes and delete routes as needed.

Drawing Routes - Add Route Button

Once you have selected a player you can add a route drawing by clicking the Add Route button (green button with plus sign) as shown above.

Once the Add Route button is clicked the add route menu will appear with a list of available route options, the options available will depend on the sport, player type and player position.

Drawing Routes - Straight Route Controls

Once a straight line is added you can control its path by moving around its route control point, see the controls indicated by the arrow in the above diagram.

Drawing Routes - Curved Route Controls

Once a curved line is added you can control its path by moving around its route control point as above like a straight line, but an additional control point is also available to control the amount of curve, see the controls indicated by the arrow in the above diagram.

An offensive player that has a OL position time will have a ZONE route option in the add route menu. A offensive zone route has two control points as shown above, dragging either of them will change the direction, width and angle of a zone blocking route.

A defensive player will have a zone route option within the add route menu. Defensive zone routes also have 2 control points, the first is a standard endpoint control that is the same as you would use on a straight or curved line route, the second will control the size of the zone as shown above.

An offensive player with no existing routes will have a PRESET route option within the add route menu. This menu will contain twelve (12) common presets that can be added to a player with a single click. Once added a preset route can be modified just like any other route.

Drawing Routes - Edit Route Menu

Every route will have a EDIT button within the route controls (blue with gear icon). Clicking the edit button for any route segment will activate the edit route menu. Which will allow you to customize the settings/styling of that specific route segment.

Drawing Routes - Removing A Route Segment

Every route segment will have a REMOVE button within the route controls (red with X icon). Clicking the REMOVE button will delete that specific route segment, including any segments AFTER the removed one.
